8w4d

This will be a quick update as I am leaving for South Dakota in about 15 minutes but didn't want to leave y'all hanging :)

This morning's US showed Baby T measuring a day ahead of schedule at 8w5d with a heartbeat of 175 bpm!! We saw a little tiny head, little arm/leg buds & the umbilical cord. The tech said everything is looking great thus far!

About Us

Hi - my name is Heather (aka: bubbas-mama1 on thebump.com). My husband & I have been married for 8 years & have been TTC for the last 5+ years. This blog is about our journey to becoming parents. It is also a place for me to express my thoughts, my frustrations, the ups, downs, tears & fears that come with infertility. This blog has been a good way to get to know others in the infertile blog world, learn more about infertility & hopefully has helped others who are in this same unfortunate situation.

After numerous failed medicated IUI's, 2 failed IVF cycles, & 2 FET cycles (which resulted in BFP's only to later miscarry both) we sadly decided to call it quits & put an end to this long & painful journey. 3 months later I got a surprise BFP with no medical intervention & am so happy to share that we are having a little boy! Miracles truly do happen - I am living proof of that!!

Our Journey

Married: 5/22/04

2/09 - TI = BFP with M/C @ 7 weeks

8/09 - BFP = chemical pregnancy

11/09 - 1st consult with RE

Jan - July 2010 - monthly IUI's = all BFN

9/10 - IVF #1 - 3 embies transferred = BFN * no frosties

*on a TTC break til Dec

Dec - 2nd opinion at new clinic

Jan 2011 - EPP & DHEA started (8 weeks)

Mar - IVF #2 - 2 embies transferred = BFN * 4 frosties

June - FET #1 - 2 embies transferred = BFP

July - C/P @ 5w4d

Sep - FET #2 - 2 embies transferred = BFP

Oct 10th - 1st US = one heartbeat

9 week US - no heartbeat detected :( D&C scheduled

*on a TTC break

Mar - consult for IVF #3 using donor eggs (cancelled)

April - sadly we have decided that this is the end of our IF journey

June - surprise BFP :) EDD: 2/4/2013
